Olof as a child was into football but due to an unforeseen knee injury, he could not compete in football competitions. After his injury he took to another form of sport, one that does not involve hurting his knees.
Even before the release of CSGO, Olof played counter strike 1.6 and had gained quite a bit of expertise in the game. Olof was one of the few players that took CSGO seriously on its release.
He joined his first professional eSports team named H2K. After a short stint with the roster, Olof left for Absolute Legends. He would play in Absolute legends for a short time before switching to LGB eSports.
In his 1 year in LGB esports Olof showed great mastery of the game and was able to take his team to the semifinals of ESL One Katowice 2014. In the later part of 2014, he ended up joining Fnatic and Fnatic was where Olof began to shine.
2015 was the best year for Olof’s career as he won 2 major titles – ESL One Katowice 2015 and ESL One cologne 2015. In 2015 was when Olof famously pulled off his Olof boost, which although controversial at the time has been a staple now in competitive CSGO play.
The following years after winning the major Olof was not able to achieve anything with Fnatic so he left for Faze Clan in 2017. Olof has been with Faze clan ever since, dropping in and out of the active lineup. Currently he is a part of the Faze active CSGO roster.
Social Media and Net Worth
Olof has built up a massive fan following. He came to the attention of the CSGO community due to the infamous Olof boost. Ever since that “boost” has become a key tactile in CSGO and that all can be attributed to Olof. Olofmeister has 481K followers on Twitter, 560K followers on Twitch, 218K followers on Instagram.
Olof also has a YouTube channel with 15K subscribers. However, the YouTube channel is dormant and its last upload is dated all the way back to 2015 hence the reason why it has very few subscribers.
As far as Olof’s net worth is concerned, he has not offered any official statement regarding it. However, since the result of the tournaments Olof has played in is available to the public, it is possible to make an estimate regarding Olof’s wealth. It is estimated that Olof has a net worth of $1 million.
