Flusha’s Career
Flusha started his Counter Strike career with CS 1.6. He was among the veterans CS pros that transferred over to CSGO after it was released. Since Flusha had grip over the Counter Strike mechanics he was able to dominate the early days of CSGO.
After his transition to CSGO, the first professional team that Flusha joined was Epsilon eSports. His stint with the team didn’t last for long and he left it for Western Wolves. With Western Wolves he defeated NIP which was considered the best team of the time in an online match.
Flusha showed great performances and was finally able to take his team to the final of the Dreamhack Summer 2013, in which the team ended up placing second. After this event the Epsilon roster signed with Fnatic.
Flusha’s dominance started with team Fnatic. Fnatic won the 2013 Dreamhack Winter by beating NIP in a nailbiter final. For this performances, Flusha was rated as the 6th best player in 2013 by HLTV.
Fnatic’s run continued till late 2014 and they kept posting great results partly due to Flusha’s great performances. In Dreamhack Winter 2014, Flusha was part of the “pixel walk” controversy and he also faced alleged cheating accusations. Fnatic forfeited Dreamhack 2014 in protest.
In the next value sponsored major of 2015, Fnatic came back with full force. They won the ESL One Katowice, Dreamhack Open Tours 2015, Dreamhack Open Summer 2015 and ESL Pro League Season 1 finals. In the later part of the year, Fnatic also won ESL One Cologne 2015, making Flusha among the first ever players to have won back-to-back majors.
Flusha was named the MVP of ESL One Cologne which was adamant to his contribution in winning the major for the team. Fnatic continued their momentum into 2016 and won three more tournaments. Flusha left Fnatic in 2016 to join GODSENT on a brief stint. He however joined Fnatic back in 2017. In 2018, Flusha was able to take Fnatic to the summit of the IEM Katowice 2018 where he lifted the major trophy to become the first player to have won 3 valve sponsored CSGO majors.
After 2018, things didn’t turn out good for Flusha. He bounced between different teams without winning a single trophy. Currently, he is playing for Gorillaz as an In-game leader. Even if Flusha is unable to win any more major in CSGO, his name is still etched into the history books as one of the greatest CSGO players to ever live.
